Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on children's deep Ⅱ degree scalded wounds, and to provide references for clinical treatment. Methods 80 cases of children with deep II degree scald admitted to Tianjin Fourth Central Hospital from March 2015 to March 2016 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into the control group (40 cases) and the combined treatment group (40 cases) according to the treatment modality. The control group was treated with b FGF, while the combined treatment group was treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) and b FGF. The infection rate of scalded wounds, wound healing time and post healing scarring were compared between the two groups. At 7, 10, 15 and 20 d after injury, the infection rate of the wound in the combined treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Wound healing time was shorter in the combination treatment group than in the control group [(21.53±1.33)d vs. (25.76±1.50)d,t=13.345,P<0.01)]; scar generation was better than that in the control group (U=5.077,P<0.05). Conclusion: Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with b FGF has the advantages of anti-infection, accelerating wound healing and preventing scarring in the treatment of children's deep II degree scalded wounds, and the clinical efficacy is remarkable.
