Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of fluticasone propionate cream combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) in the treatment of eczema. Methods: 120 patients with eczema were randomly divided into two groups. 60 patients in the treatment group were treated with fluticasone propionate cream 1 time/d and polymyxin B ointment 2 times/d on the rashes. In the control group, 60 cases were treated with fluticasone propionate cream once/d for 14 days. The efficacy rates of the treatment group were 51.67% and 78.33% on the 7th and 14th days, respectively; the control group was 41.67% and 58.33%, respectively. The difference was statistically significant only at the 14th day of treatment (P<0.01). No serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment. It was concluded that fluticasone propionate cream combined with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) was effective in the treatment of eczema, and there was no significant adverse reaction.
