Abstract : Objective: To analyze the effect of Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin) after surgery for perianal abscess. Methods: 66 patients who underwent surgical treatment of perianal abscesses admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to March 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into an observation group (33 cases) and a control group (33 cases) based on the blind selection results. After surgery, the control group was treated with conventional drugs for anti-infection treatment, while the observation group was treated with topical Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin). The recovery of surgical wounds was compared between the two groups. Results: The postoperative treatment effect of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), the wound recovery time was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the hospitalization time was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapeutic effect of Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin) after surgery on perianal abscess is significant.
