Abstract : Objective To explore the efficacy of Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with intense pulsed light in the treatment of moderate to severe acne. Methods 60 patients with moderate to severe acne were divided into observation group and control group using random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) treatment, and the observation group received intense pulsed light treatment on the basis of the control group. The treatment effects, symptom scores before and after treatment, and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.67% higher than that in the control group, 66.67%, and the difference was statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) combined with intense pulsed light is effective in treating patients with moderate to severe acne. It can significantly improve the inflammation level and effectively promote the recovery of patients' skin lesions.
