Purpose: To explore the effect of postoperative application of compound polymyxin colloid on wound recovery in patients with hemorrhoids undergoing PPH surgery. Methods: This study selected 60 patients with hemorrhoids undergoing PPH surgery who were admitted to the hospital from January 2017 to December 2017. The test subjects were divided into a control group and an observation group with 30 cases each under the random number table method. The patients in the observation group were treated with Fonow ointment (Compound Polymyxin B Ointment, Triple Antibiotic Ointment) after PPH surgery, while the patients in the control group were treated with placebo. The effect of postoperative wound recovery in patients with surgical hemorrhoids is significant, significantly shortening the patient's wound recovery time and hospitalization time, and effectively reducing the patient's postoperative pain. It is worthy of application in wound recovery after PPH surgery.
