Abstract : Objective To study and analyze the clinical efficacy of combined use of Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin) and compound flumetasone ointment in patients with chronic eczema and contact dermatitis. Methods: Patients with chronic eczema and contact dermatitis who were treated in our hospital were selected from March 2017 to December 2017, and the number of cases was 134. By random number method, they were evenly divided into a control group and an observation group of 67 cases each. Patients in the control group used compound flumetasone ointment, and patients in the observation group used compound flumetasone ointment and Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin). The treatment effects of the two groups of patients were analyzed. Results The overall effective rate of the patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the skin area, skin thickness and skin hardness scores of the patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Clinically, the combined treatment of compound flumetasone ointment and Fonow ointment (Compound polymyxin B ointment, Chinese version of Neosporin) has good effect on patients with eczema and contact dermatitis, and their symptoms are significantly improved.
